Dance Pedagogy
Advanced / Intermediate / Beginner Contemporary Dance Class
The Class begins with a set sequence of continuous stretches and articulate movements of the spine and limbs that will allow us to connect with ourselves, our body and its center. We will place focus on breathing to help us warm up, energize and tone the muscles and joints as well as to open awareness of the balanced body and it’s/our presence in the space. In continuance, we will explore a succession of moves and some traveling exercises to challenge the body to be available and efficient in relationship to one another’s. We will put into action a dynamic-high-energy dance phrase that encompass floor work, technical sequencing and acrobatic body vocabulary, all of which I have acquired through my years of contemporary dance work in Europe. I am a creative that uses improvisation and explorative formations so the body can articulate one’s sense of character. My classes always have the aim of growing one’s individual voice through movement and to share it with others.

PROJECtem: Accompanied Collective Creation
It is a nunArt proposal to accompany a creation in group format lead by Gisela Creus and Triny Reinoso. The objective is to create a stable group of 10 performers who want to work on the creation and exhibition of a piece for 12 weeks.
This proposal is born from the desire to offer an inclusive space for meeting, growth and inspiration to the interpreters who are part of it. One of the main objectives is to offer participants tools and learning that have to do with a professional projection in performing arts through practice and the achievement of a creative project.
PROJECTem wants to increase the perspective of the possibilities of professional development and promote self-confidence for independent scenic creation through experience, as well as mutual support and collaboration between dance professionals, as it is a group project.
The meetings will be twice a week, with a total of 6 hours per week for 12 weeks, in sessions that will consist of a training part and a creative part. The decisions of scenery, costumes, music, production, tour management, etc. will be taken by the participants themselves, who will distribute the tasks to be carried out. For this reason, it is necessary that participants commit to being involved throughout the whole process. On the other hand, it must be counted that there will be approximately two hours a week of personal work, to do research or meetings with the group.

It is an intensive week of workshops and classes lead by professionals in the field, that will share their work with the students, with the aim of providing tools and motivating a space where to explore and develop their own individual voices and also the awareness of creating in a group.
This program can be executed in many different community groups, from professionals, dance students, beginners or any group of people that are interested in living an experience of creating with the own body, its movement and as part of a group.
Specific proposals can be developed.
